Sounds like some elegant building when you heard about castle right? But too bad, for this is just the ruins. There is no more castle left. Built by King Arthur who is so romantic, located in midst of mountain and ocean. The area is huge that we need time to explore around. Becareful of steps though as some path are rocky and steep. The remains of castle can still be seen around but mostly are ocean and mountain view. This was a trip we had planned weeks in advance, we were really excited! The hike did not disappoint! We had so much fun - we were smart enough to bring a lot of food. It was definitely worth it!

Amazing place but not worth spending 24 gbp to go in. Just wander around the outside, walk to the free headland and go down to the beach where you find a nice cave and waterfall. Look around for parking in town as prices vary from place to place. Nice hike for an hour or so heading east from the castle. Beautiful views of the coastline and of Tintagel castle. Very exposed if weather bad
