We decided to skip it and just took a car directly to St. Gilgen instead. Smart move! Walking along the serene lake into this incredibly quiet little town was simply beautiful. ✨ St. Gilgen is the birthplace of Mozart's mother, and Mozart himself lived here as a child. You can almost feel the history in the air. Even on a cloudy day with mist clinging to the mountains, it added a stunning, hazy beauty to the landscape. Many shops hadn't opened yet, but we saw locals walking their dogs, cyclists enjoying the quiet roads, and people sipping coffee. St.Wolfgang: I like it very much. It is a destination that Thai people do not often come to because most people only come to Salzburg and then cross over to Hallstatt.
