It's near the beach and the location is convenient. The two-bedroom family room is very big and you can go to the swimming pool right out of the balcony. It's very convenient. The heated massage pool is super comfortable at nightš

Needed a place to stay as our flight arrived after midnight when the car rental was shut, so a little walk to the Ivis for a sleep, shower and brekkie was a perfect way to begin our trip before picking up the car rental in the morning. Totally convenient. Thanks š

great location, close to shops and public transport. was in the 4 mixed dorm, was abit too hot in there for me, ended up getting a private room to have my own AC. in saying that, i sleep with a fan on, so warm to me is hot. great place would stay again!
The room was spacious, but needed more detailed cleaning, ie. glass windows, couch. The air con dripped water, and had mould on the air fins. No dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher. The single beds sagged in the middle. The air con seemed undersized for the space. Some kitchen cupboard doors were hard to open, one wouldn't close at all.
But otherwise, the location was good and the unit safe and secure, the kitchen was reasonably well equipped, the views were nice. Pity that the fire alarms went off twice after hours with two firetrucks having to attend to reset the alarms, quite disruptive.
I loved this place despite some downsides.
Itās in the best area of the island, at walking distance from a stunning beach (Horseshoe bay). I booked it because Iām a digital nomad and Selinas are normally great because they offer a coworking space. The only issue is that I work European hours and I often finish at 9:00pm (as most of digital nomads I guess) but the kitchen closes at 09:00 and all the restaurants in the island close at 09:00pm too. The result is that during the week you cannot eat š thatās not optimal. On top of that Wi-Fi stopped working for one whole evening and the following morning and I was stressing out because I had to send some urgent emails that could not be sent. For the record - there is not even phone signal so you cannot use data as a backup, you really need to rely on the Wi-Fi.
Another flaw is that itās too far away from everything, the only supermarket is 1hr walk (the bus runs only a few times a day) and they donāt even offer a scooter hire service (I had to get the bus and go to the other lāart of the island - it would be great if they organised something for guests).
Nevertheless if youāre staying for the weekend itās totally worth it. The staff is really nice, the restaurant offers good food and the place is just like paradise, itās in the middle of the koala park. You are immersed by nature and itās stunning. The dorms have very comfy beds and some have their own bathroom which is great. I am writing what to improve just because this place could be even better and has some room for improvement. But I highly recommend anyone to go (and I am already doing so)
I absolutely loved my stay here! It was very clean and relaxed. The swimming pools wete great and the staff was very friendly! The only downside was its distance from the city centre of Noosa, but there was a busstop right in front which made it very easy to get there. I would definitely recommend staying here!
I was overall happy with my stay. Staff at the pub were great. Only issues were a shower head that was leaking and caused a cascade of water all over the floor, sink and toilet. The mattress is due for replacement. the restaurant at the pub was good.šš»

The hotel was a very average setup, with bare minimum facilities. Its perfect for the pricing offered and the advantage is mainly the prime location. The cleanliness and service are all around the average.

GGuest UserFirstly, the room was excellent, ultra clean with bath and shower. The sheets were exemplary, bed very comfortable as were the pillows.
Bar fridge and microwave, toiletries in the bathroom.
Towels excellent.
Airconditioning excellent.
I was excited to see a very large, modern wide screen TV with onboard Android system.
Disappointed that no internet connection (so I could have used my own passwords for my streaming services.
Even more disappointed that there was no aerial connected, but I had brought my own tech and internet. I just switched off the TV.
Imagine my extreme displeasure to board the 3rd floor lift at 05:00 to have the doors closed - but no button worked!
I WAS TRAPPED IN THE LIFT!!!
I pressed the yellow emergency button for 5 seconds - no answer - pressed multiple times.
I phoned the hotel main number, so they could press the lift call button - no answer.
I phoned the 24/7 emergency 1300 number. The operator said she would send someone out - who would phone me with an ETA.
Getting anxious, being 60 years old with a heart condition, I dialled 000 to call the POLICE!
The dispatcher commended me on remaining so calm.
I assured her, being very hot in cramped spaces with very little air was definitely not conducive to my remaining calm.
They said to call 000 back if I got out before the fire brigade arrived.
Five minutes later I heard voices outside. Someone heard my banging on the lift doors and cries for help.
I GOT OUT
That night the guy on reception said sorry.
I explained that, although the room was marvelous - and that I did eventually get out, a man of my age and I'll health could have died - why wasn't anyone on duty to answer the damn lift emergency phone?
He said he was sorry.
AAnonymous UserHad a wonderful stay at cairns queen court! All the staff were super friendly. They always try their very best to help with our questions and provide suggestions to our trip planning! However, beware of the morning (ard 6:30am) house keeping if you wanna sleep in~ overall, I enjoyed staying there and had lot of fun in Cairns!
GGuest UserGood points: Room was spacious and clean. Aircon and wifi worked fine. Was in a good location. Quiet, dark, comfy bed. Good value for money.
Could be improved: Communal areas really dirty. Lift didnāt work the whole time we were there.
No one on check in (apparently they text us with instructions but we didnāt get a text)

SSandy.cccit's quite clean, the service is good, and it's very convenient to eat around. Next time I come to Cairns, I will stay in Cairns. The surrounding bars are very livelyļ¼
FFlemingTaniaWe booked our accommodation at Hola as it was a short drive from the birthday party celebration at a local Brewery we attended. We were pleasantly surprised by this bouquet-style accommodation(only 15 rooms). Every room is slightly different with different art from a local artist hanging in the room. A local potter has made one-of-a-kind coffee and tea cups. All of the content in the bar fridge is locally sourced (bottles are recycled) everything is about sustainability- furniture from recycled timber, a water tank, solar-sourced power, private, tranquil, and the most amazingly comfortable bed (we both sleep very well) The bathroom products are beautiful: organic botanicals designed to elevate your mood that is vegan-friendly, cruelty-free and refillable. Across the road is a park, Thai restaurant, and local markets (Wed & Fri.) We only stayed one night but we would definitely go back for a longer stay next time so that we could enjoy the gardens and private lawn area (picnic/ read a book/ chillout). We have already recommended Hola to family and friends. Eumundi is a 20-minute drive to Noosa (north) or (South) to Mooloolaba. Super clean and very new/modern. The welcome bag containing lollies and chocolates was a nice gesture The only very, very small thing for me, was there was no shower cap (I have long hair), I think because shower caps are plastic it goes against their suitability Philosophy. I did have a hairband to use, so really that is my only negative thing.
GGuest UserWhilst everything was fairly reasonable, the food was overpriced rubbish. It was more akin to the local greasy Joe's and $35 bucks for 2 small sized peices of Snapper and 2 bucks worth of Salad did not impress at all. Staff were friendly and helpful, but they prices were outrageous for the standard. Which was overcooked and very disappointing. You might get away with it from unsuspecting overseas visitors, but I'm sorry to say it was crap. I guess when you have zero competition you better cop it or never book there again. If i was an international tourist I would not think anything food related was more than mediocre at best.
The room rate was fair priced, however dining was nothing short of highway robbery. I accept the distance to deliver supply's definitely added to the pricing, it fell way short of ones expectations of a resort level quality. $35 bucks for a meal that resembled Bain Marie cheap pub grub did not by any means cut the mustard.
It will be one and only time we ever stay there. Feeling ripped off, does not inspire retention or return guests.
Cheap 3 star venue that costs the equivalent of much more, renders this tired resort 3 stars at best.
Most visitors to any of these types of places have expectations of a higher standard.
Get the food right and pricing becomes a non issue.
