There were more than 300 numbers in total, and we got A101. It opened at 5:15 pm, and we waited until 7 pm to get in and get our meals. If you come to eat during holidays, remember to get your number in advance, otherwise they won't give you a number when you arrive. Fenglin Pavilion is a century-old restaurant. I had dinner here when I first came to Datong in 2018. I was very impressed with this restaurant at the time. The restaurant is very grand and has various architectural designs of pavilions and towers in the antique architectural style. In addition to enjoying the taste buds, you can also appreciate the indoor calligraphy and painting art, and the dishes are all local characteristics of Datong.

A century-old restaurant, located in the core of Datong Ancient City, very close to Huayan Temple, Nine Dragon Wall, etc., with an antique style, elegant environment, good taste, and inexpensive price. The only thing is that the business hours are a bit short😄. If you go before 8 o'clock in the evening, you will stop taking numbers. Friends who want to go should pay attention to the business hours! The dishes are large, ordered steamed buns, cold cabbage hearts, pure mutton offal (no smell at all, especially clean and delicious), sweet and sour meatballs (sweet and sour, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, large quantity), hot and sour soup (you can order half a portion, the quantity is very sufficient, the other dishes were not finished, the hot and sour soup is the only one that I drank clean😄 delicious)

The food is delicious and the price is very close to the people. The environment, especially the environment, is really great. There is no place in every corner. We have oily meat, roasted wheat, two haggis powder, two fried cakes (one sweet and one salty), cold gourd silk. These two girls can't finish eating and have to pack. The food tastes good, the price is moderate, not expensive and outrageous. I ordered Baihua Shaomai, personally prefer green vegetable stuffing; The powdered lamb is really good, the jelly balls (I am from Shanxi, these eat more) just ok; although the gourd silk is very special, but because the expectations are too high, it is a bit lost. It took 30 minutes to eat and 1 hour to visit. It’s really great inside. Every eaves and beams are carefully carved. Every wall is a scenery. Every turn is a surprise. Even the hanging temple has it. Fenglin Pavilion really shows the architectural culture of Shanxi. It is said that 300 million built, feel exaggerated before the visit, feel really after the visit!
