Thanks to my friend's blessing, I ate the restaurant in Auckland this week: The Grove. There are no other highlights except pigeon meat and wine. My friend thinks the main course is not bad, but each dish is salty. I feel that Western food is also at the end, and I can't play new tricks.
It belongs to a more distinctive restaurant in New Zealand. There are more dishes of lamb in it. I ate the sheep tongue. This sheep tastes bigger. The oyster is fried, but the oyster is big.
A very good creative restaurant, the dishes inside are like bonsai, and they are relatively healthy. The seafood is oysters. The head is very big. The fried taste is also relatively unique.
Overall it was a very good experience. But there are two small dissatisfactions: 1. When we had dinner, there was a big table next to it that was very noisy, so that we couldn't hear others, and the waiter was difficult to hear people at other tables. 2 We booked for a special occasion, we mentioned this at the time of booking, but the waiter did not mention it at all. However, the service attitude and food and red wine were beyond expectations, which was enough to make up for something else.
This store is a bit like Japanese kaiseki cuisine. There is no fixed menu. The door is selected according to the price. The chef decides what to eat. The taste is very good. It is more creative food. The waiter is very good.
