Food was amazing as well as the staff. Location is fabulous, in the center of the beautiful Lisbon! Highly recommended!!
Speaking of Portuguese cuisine, I have to step on Spain again, haha, after coming to Portugal, I found that the restaurant here is so delicious, we have not even been to the Chinese restaurant once, and the food standard is rising straight... (In contrast, in Spain we are simply Chinese restaurant detective shop [Facepalm]). Let's talk about the several restaurants we have eaten in Lisbon: ✅PEIXARIA DO ROSSIO is located near the San Husta lift, this one is mainly seafood and various fish. We ate our first Portuguese paella here. Unlike Spanish paella, Portuguese paella is very moist, similar to oyster rice. There are crabs, prawns, salmon, clams, green mouth shellfish, etc., the content is very rich, the taste is superb, not greasy at all, the rice is completely cooked, very suitable for Chinese taste, much better than Spanish paella. ✅Cruzes Credo Just on the small street next to the main church in Lisbon, The store is not big, the guests are locals, and they will be changed to a bar late at night, and they can eat here after 11 pm. The two we ordered were stewed rice, 👉🏻 one had roast pork chops, bacon, mushrooms and beans, and there was a fried poached egg lying on it, which was super fragrant. 👉🏻 The other one is shrimp rice, shrimp has a big pop-up teeth, plus tomato, carrot, parsley and glutinous rice, with a little acid, very appetizing, the whole CD. 👉🏻 In addition, there is a dessert. The chocolate cake is served with pomegranate seeds, apple sauce and cream, which tastes very good. ✅Bistro gato pardo It is very close to the hotel I stayed in, next to the Vincent Church, in the winding alleys of the old town. Walking in, it seems to be coming to the living room of the local people in Lisbon, the layout is very family atmosphere, and even local guests are taking their children to do homework here. 👉🏻 I ordered fried salmon in Portuguese cuisine. The Portuguese practice is to use smoked salmon. The meat is more compact and has a unique smoky taste. 👉🏻 Another is prawn pasta. The seasoning is still a classic Portuguese style. The strong taste is a little sour. Eat up your appetite. Lisbon Lisbon Region #Winter Roaming Guide #Local to eat food #Taste the authentic old brand
Good value no nonsense food. Just the reason why you come to Lisbon. Generous portions - beware! Sit in the main dining room rather than downstairs.
We really enjoyed the dish of fish and seafood we ordered, everything was made perfectly, the side dish of vegetables was also great.
We just had a great experience at Peixaria do Rossio. We requested outdoor seating and arrived early to find our table already waiting for us. We got drenched in a sudden downpour on the walk to the restaurant but our table was by a heater and under a canopy that kept us dry and comfortable. The food was so delicious and the service so prompt and friendly that we mostly forgave the member of our party who insisted we walk instead of take a cab in the downpour. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared - the tuna, salmon, and especially the octopus. We would definitely eat here again if we had an opportunity.
