I found that every restaurant in Spain has a plate of squid ink rice that you can order, and it&#39;s always a big plate. It tastes very good. If there are two of you, I suggest you order one plate. It&#39;s definitely worth it. You can order other things at your discretion. You won&#39;t make a mistake.

EL Gran Barril，这家是马德里当地颇具有名气的一家海鲜料理，他们家的海鲜食材真的特别新鲜，所以生意一直是挺不错的呢。

EL Gran Barril is a well-known seafood restaurant in Madrid. Their seafood ingredients are really fresh, so their business has always been pretty good.

Our second time back, came for the first time a week ago and fell in love so came back again tonight. The Albari&ntilde;o is delicious as were the scallops starter. Highly enjoyed the tomato and anchovies as well. The mariscos paella is a must have and so is the tiramisu. Okay so basically it&rsquo;s all amazing!

I had many times in Madrid rice with lobster but never as good as in this place. A part from that they have very good seafood. Staff is friendly and by ordering a beer at the bar you get a small &quot;pincho&quot;... usually salmon. For a family, couple of business lunch, this place is the perfect place... if you are looking for seafood or fish of course!

Good to enjoy excellent fish at a very convenient area of Goya. Nice atmosphere and good service. Recommendable.

El Gran Barril

This place was recommended and I recommend it 100%! Not a fancy place but the food is not only tasty but beautifully presented. All dishes we ordered were cooked to perfection and pretty much personalised. I had a pregnant friend that needed her steak and chocolate fondant more cooked, these two plates came amazingly good and delicious! Thank you for lovely evening!! We will def come back soon!

The food is wonderful and the service is attentive without being overbearing. They were very patient with my extremely poor Spanish. They do have an English menu if required, just request it. I had the artichokes, beef in sherry and chocolate fondant (called souffl&eacute; on the menu) all delicious. Some lovely olives and a gazpacho served before the meal.

We found this restaurant and fell in love with its simple marine decor.   We arrived for lunch. The appetizer calamares de potera a la andaluza (fried squid) was sublime. It was crunchy, sweet and very well cooked.We also had croquettes, salpic&oacute;n de mariscos and pulpo a la gallega.  All the appetizers were excellent.We followed with merluza al pilpil, and arroz meloso de mariscos with were very good.  I forgot what we had for dessert and ended with a shot of orujo, Paxo de Valdomi&ntilde;o.  Because the squid appetizer was out of the world, we returned at night two days later.  Regretfully, the squid was not crunchy, rubbery and very distant from the plate we had enjoyed at lunch before. We followed with an order of tacos de merluza with fries, and the fish was excellently cooked,   but the fries were raw. I called that to the attention of the server, and ordered another order. This time, the fish was overcooked and the fries were cooked to perfection.  This excellent rating in this review is based on our lunch experience, and not the dinner experience, where presumably, another chef was tending the stoves.

My husband and I are staying a few blocks from this restaurant and we decided to try it out. We loved everything about Taberna Moderna. The atmosphere, the service but especially the food!! We highly recommend it.

Last minute decision to go there and it was a very good one. We enjoyed a lot the food and the friendly staff. We will definitely come back to eat again the &quot;torreznos&quot;
