أفضل فنادق أوتاوا مع بار

Booked this hotel last minute as we had to stay one extra night in the city and it was really amazing! This is a hotel I would definitely go back! The lady at the counter was extremely nice and she spoke Portuguese! She was really happy to be able to speak with us in Portuguese and we were happy she spoke Portuguese! The hotel location is really good, downtown near the parliament, and the room was amazing! Really big and spacious studio with a kitchen and a living room. Bed was really comfortable but the sofa bed was not that good (as in all hotels). Toilet was big and had all the amenities. Breakfast was good and had eggs, bacon, fruits, cereals, fresh waffles, chia pudding, bread, … They have private parking at an extra fee but the entrance is really narrow. There’s also street parking around at a fee.

L’hôtel bénéficie d’un emplacement idéal : proche des transports en commun, de nombreux restaurants et des principaux sites touristiques, ce qui rend le séjour très pratique et agréable. Cependant, quelques bémols sont à signaler. La climatisation dans la chambre était assez bruyante, ce qui peut gêner le sommeil. De plus, il est dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de petit déjeuner buffet ou continental proposé. Cela dit, l’emplacement reste un atout majeur et compense en partie ces petits défauts.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was great. The room was fairly quiet. The shower controls were modern. The only thing was no trash bags in the trash bins inside the room, and no bottled water included (had to bring my own). The garbage bags they provided after requesting them were too big lol. The cost was fairly expensive for just one night though manageable if splitting the cost with another guest.

Pros: a parking lot with sufficient space (no need to book in advance). A shopping mall St Laurent is nearby. The breakfast is ok. There are 2 sockets and 2 USB-A outlet on each side of the bed. The staff are friendly in general. Cons: A bit far away from the tourist attractions downtown (around 10 minutes drive). The coffee from the in-room coffee machine was so-so. The air-conditioner was quite noisy. The TV in my room couldn't be turned off (It went off automatically after no-signal for a while anyway). There were some paper cups for coffee but no other glass / cups in the whole room even for brushing teeth so I had to use paper cups for brushing teeth (Is it considered environmental friendly?)

اول مرة اسكن في اوتاوا لليله واحده حجزت بالفندق لورد Elgin ولمدة وصولي مبكرا للفندق وتم توفير غرفه قبل موعد تسجيل الدخول وهذا مقدر جدا والاكل ونظافة الغرف :) ويوم واحد لحين الانتهاء من اجراءات المغادره. وهذه المره الثانيه التي اسكن في هذا الفندق في نفس الفندق او اختياري للسكن في هذه الفتره. المرافق نظيفة والموظفون ودودون. ومع ذلك، لم نكن نعرف القليل، كانت غرفتنا في الطابق السابع كانت متصلة بغرفة أخرى مع أبواب متصلة. كان الديكور الحديثة. الموظفين مفيدة وودية. الإفطار كان جيدا. لدينا غرفة فسيحة أرخص. وأود أن نقدم لضيوفنا. لم نكن قادرين على النوم طوال الليل بينما كانت الغرفة صغيرة ولا يوجد عزل صوتي من غرفة التوصيل، حيث كان طفل يبكي طوال الليل. أنا محيرة حول كيف كنا نسمع كل ضوضاء: السعال والعطس من الآباء في الغرفة الأخرى، وغسل المرحاض وطفل يبكي طوال الليل. لقد أمضينا ليلتين في فندق باستخدامه لتكييف الهواء. لم نكن قادرين على النوم بشكل مريح واستيقظنا بصداعات منفصلة. لقد حجزت هذا الفندق لأقرب فرصة لركوب سكاي دراجة نارية. ولكن سوف يكون لي أن أجد فندق آخر في المرة القادمة.

A short walk from Parliament Station, the Sheraton gave us a spacious room. However, there was no kettle to boil water for tea - we used the coffee maker instead. There was some kind of problem with the pipes in the wall, meaning a shopvac had to be left running in the hallway outside our room 24hr/d. The carpet in our closet next to the bathroom was always soaked, probably because of the problem. Perhaps because it was near Centretown, we had one or two homeless or disturbed people on the sidewalks near the hotel. This made it uncomfortable for me to approach with my children because of their random mutterings and throwing of drink bottles. However this only happened twice during our weeklong stay. Staff were very friendly, nice and helpful, and sharply dressed.
