"An Unforgettable Birthday Stay at Hotel de la Coupole Me and my friends had an amazing stay at Hotel de la Coupole! Although we weren’t lucky enough to have clear skies during our Fansipan visit, our experience at the hotel more than made up for it. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Miss Anh (Ann) from the front desk truly made us feel at home — a wonderful example of genuine Vietnamese warmth and care. Breakfast was another highlight. The food selection was fantastic, the views were beautiful, and Christine (Giang) made sure we were always comfortable, checking in to see if we needed anything. I was so touched and surprised when she brought out a cake — what a lovely way to start celebrating my birthday! Dinner at Chic was equally memorable. Our table was beautifully decorated with rose petals, making my birthday dinner even more special. A big thank you to Pineapple and her team for their thoughtful gestures and attentive service — it made the evening unforgettable. I also want to thank Ta for assisting us as we checked out, and the rest of the staff who contributed to such a wonderful stay. Celebrating my birthday at Hotel de la Coupole was truly a memorable experience — not only because of the elegant surroundings but because of the people who made it feel like home. I can’t wait to return and see everyone again."

"10/10 view. Clean and beautiful hotel. Staff were very apologetic upon finding that we found two stinging ants in our room. (It was rainy season). Offered us complimentary service to help and cleaned our room. Special mention to Mathieu who was very hospitable. I would come here again. Amazing view of Fansipan"

"We had a nice stay at the hotel. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean — though I did notice a small clump of dust beside the bed, which didn’t really bother me. I appreciated the small gym that allowed me to keep up with my exercise routine even while on vacation. The breakfast offered a good variety of food to choose from. The only downside was that our room faced the roadside, so it was a bit noisy at times, but it did get quiet around midnight. Overall, it was a pleasant stay"

"Very conveniently located at the town square. Across the road is Sunworld plaza, access for cable car to fansipan peak . Plenty of restaurant within 5min walk. However, do request for room away from main road which can be v noisy with music blasting & kids dancing around soliciting money at the town square. Overall , the hotel is v convenient & the room is big but the toilet is pretty small"

"The resort is designed for private retreat. Great service. Just right outside and not too far from the city. I really feel at peace staying there. Love the view of Fansipan right from my bed. The bathrobe is very fluffy and comfortable, please have them for sale next time I’m staying. Everything in the room function well except the bath tub that flood the whole bathroom area when drains. It dried out pretty quick tho. The room is mostly quiet and tranquil, away from all traffic noises, however, mind the sound proof in room as karaoke is the culture!!!"

"We had such a lovely stay at the Sapa Farmstay! The local family running the establishment is warm, friendly, and hospitable. We ate dinner with them twice—the food was beyond delicious and fresh, and I loved the family-style atmosphere during mealtime. The rooms were just like the photos: comfy, clean, and well-decorated, with plenty of hotel-style amenities! The only minor drawback was the hot water…it was quite cold in Sapa during our visit in January, and the hot water never lasted more than 3 minutes or so during showers. This was a minor issue, though, and we will for sure re-book when we return to Sapa again!"

"The best place in Sapa. The most attentive employees. I really liked the girl at the reception in a white blouse, the guy who took the luggage was very attentive and the security guard downstairs, guarding the entrance on the ground floor - these three were always smiling and helping. Thanks to them, it was always nice to return to the hotel after a hard day. I definitely recommend you to visit"

"The location of the hotel is great! Very near to Sapa Centre yet not in the noisy area. The room is big and we got one with Mountain View so it’s nice. However the towels are a little lacking. They only supply 2 bath towels and 2 face towels. Breakfast has a good spread but some food ran out by 7.30/8am."

"Okay Stay, But Definitely Not a 4-Star Experience My daughter and I stayed at Azure Sapa Hôtel and, overall, it was a decent experience, but there were several letdowns that made it feel more like a 3-star hotel at best. First off, if you're considering booking an executive room thinking it’ll be more spacious or better equipped—don’t bother. I paid an extra £29.00 expecting better amenities, but the executive and double rooms are exactly the same size, with the same features. The only difference is the type of bed in the room. That’s it. Both room types have identical amenities. Another disappointment was the balcony. While the room technically had one, there were no balcony chairs or table provided. This made it pretty pointless. It’s especially noticeable when you look at other hotels in the area—many have visible balcony furniture, making the space usable and enjoyable. The other surprise was that the hotel charges for basic services that are usually complimentary elsewhere. Need an iron or ironing board? That'll be 10,000 VND per item. Want to take a quick shower after checking out? That'll cost you too. The nickel-and-diming was disappointing. The food situation was also underwhelming. The wide variety of food advertised on their website simply didn’t exist during my stay. It felt misleading. What truly made the stay better were the staff—they’re friendly, helpful, and honestly the highlight of the hotel. Their service and warm attitude stood out and made an otherwise average stay more pleasant. In short: decent hotel, great staff, but don’t expect four-star standards. Stick to a double room—there’s no point paying more. I’d rate it 3 stars at most."
