I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. My room was spotless, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job throughout my stay. We normally stay at the Hilton but I checked other hotels and found the holiday inn on trip. I can honestly say that the Hilton hotel in reading is not a patch on the holiday inn. The holiday inn is cleaner, the rooms are better and the breakfast was great, with lots of choice. Not forgetting the staff, they were polite and very welcoming.

We had a lovely stay here for a wedding 15 minutes drive away. The staff were very helpful and accommodating at all times. The only comment I would like to raise is that we were given room 9 which was described as an accessible room (which we didn’t need) but it was completely inappropriate as accessible as the shower ( which was in the bath) would have been completely unsuitable for a wheelchair user, or someone else with difficulty moving who wouldn’t have been able to climb into the bath to use it. Breakfast was excellent.

Location is good, the staff is friendly and attentive. It's just that the wifi was not working and it was the main thing I needed because I work late. I arrived late at night so I did not bother to ask the staff. I had to use my mobile data instead which can be quite inconvenient. Other than that, it was all good.
