يتمتع الفندق بموقع ممتاز. يوجد مقهى بيتس في الطابق السفلي، وسوبر ماركت كبير نسبيًا على بُعد 100 متر. كما يقع مقهى ستاربكس على بُعد مسافة قصيرة سيرًا على الأقدام. يبعد الفندق حوالي كيلومتر واحد عن مبنى الكابيتول، وأكثر من كيلومترين عن البيت الأبيض. على الرغم من موقعه في مركز المدينة، إلا أنه هادئ جدًا ليلًا، حتى مع قربه من الشارع. استمتع الجميع بنوم هانئ. الفندق نفسه ليس كبيرًا، لكنني أعتقد أنه مناسب للأزواج والأفراد. قد تجد العائلات الغرف صغيرة بعض الشيء. لا يوجد مكتب استقبال تقليدي؛ عليك تسجيل الوصول بنفسك. تحتوي كل غرفة على جهاز آيباد للتحكم الذاتي، وهو أمر مريح للغاية. الشيء الوحيد الذي يجب تذكره هو ضبط إعدادات خدمة الغرف يدويًا على جهاز الآيباد، وإلا فلن يتم تنظيف الغرفة.

Our recent stay at the Residence Inn Washington, DC National Mall was fantastic for our group of 6! The One Bedroom Two Queen Suite with Sofa Bed provided plenty of space for everyone to stay comfortably. The suite was perfectly sized with two queen beds in the separate bedroom and a queen-sized sofa bed in the living area. The spacious layout allowed all six of us to move around comfortably without feeling cramped, especially with the separate living and sleeping areas. Location: 5/5 - Prime spot near the National Mall Cleanliness: 5/5 - Everything was spotless and well-maintained Service: 5/5 - Staff was accommodating Facilities: 5/5 - All amenities exceeded expectations The suite proved to be an ideal choice for our group of 6. The queen-sized beds, including the sofa bed, provided comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone. The living area offered enough space for us to gather and socialize, making it a perfect base for our DC adventure. For anyone traveling with a group of 6, I can confidently say this suite configuration works great, offering both comfort and convenience in an excellent location.

The hotel is not your typical dimension but it was clean and the mattress + pillows are one of the best I have slept on. The location was good as it was close to Metro, White House, Lincoln memorial, and Georgetown (walking around 20 mins). There is also a Metro station close by. However, it’s far away from the convention center though, you will need to take a taxi or Uber to get there. The one suggestion I have is to provide kettle for hot water in the room as well as bottle waters. Most of the reception reps are very helpful and cheerful, only the grave yard shift reception lady is not in a good mood (I know it’s grave yard shift…but). The elevator needs some improvement as well since it’s very slow… (I’m not sure it’s because of the elevator manufacturer or because of the old building).

Booked this hotel with the understanding there is an option for buffet breakfast at $10/person as stated in trip.com. Request for this at check-in but hotel declined stating that they only serve ala-carte breakfast. Called trip.com support to resolve issue. However, trip.com unable to solve issue and offer to compensate with trip coins instead and the value of trip coins offered is for 1 person instead of 2 persons as booked for this room. One of the 2 bedside lamps is not in good working condition - light goes out when there is vibration/contact with the lamp. Reported to front desk but the fix was no good. Problem recurred intermittently. A bit of mould on bath tub grouting.
