Very nice house on leisure Island. Beautiful room, very friendly hosts, top breakfast. Highly recommended!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 18 days at One on Bollard. Diane and Rob were the perfect hosts, welcoming, sharing their home with their guests and ensuring a most comfortable and pleasant stay in the process. Leisure Isle, where the guest house is established, is a true South African gem. The breakfast specials were amazing. We have booked for more of the same next year.

In April 2025 we stayed for 4 nights at One on Bollard. Dianne and Rob really went over and above to make our stay great. The room was lovely, the breakfasts delicious and the location was safe and the island was a great place to for for a walk before and after our day's activities. A particular highlight was the recommendation to go to a Jessie Clegg concert 5 minutes down the road that Dianne recommended. It was such a fun to listen to live music and dance with my son!

Hotel muito bem localizado. Possui tudo o que é necessário para uma excelente estada. Diana nos recebeu com muito carinho. O quarto é muito confortável com área externa excelente. Fácil de achar. Boas opções de lazer no entorno. Vale muito a pena.

Every once in a while, you stay in a place that more than exceeds your expectations. Rob and Diane are the best hosts I have ever met. This is a beautifully presented, welcoming and luxurious place set in Leisure Island Knysna. Seldom do you find a place that is perfect in every way. The daily breakfasts were heavenly with freshly baked bread and Muffins daily. You can choose from their daily cooked specials or feast on all the other choices. Homemade preserves, yoghurts, cheeses, fruits, homemade muesli, and much more. The rooms are beautifully decorated and open onto a tranquil private garden with loungers. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linen and pillows perfect. The bathroom has a shower and bath, and quality amenities are provided. The rooms also offer a tea and coffee station and a bar fridge. There are USB ports for charging your devices. Bicycles and kayaks which you can use for free. Beach towels, cooler bag and an umbrella is a bonus. Leisure Island is a magnificent safe and beautiful place with so many activities available. I had a personal tragedy during my stay and Rob and Diane took me under their wing and could not have done more to comfort and support me. Thank you, Rob and Diane, from the bottom of my heart. I will be back as soon as I can.

The location is great and hyper safe. There are lots of things to do in Knysna and the highlight of the stay is Diane & Rob who are incredible hosts, always here for a Good recommandation on what to do, where to go, where to eat. Thanks again for thèse wonderful stay!

What a wonderful and restful stay we had again at One on Bollard, kindly hosted by Di and Rob. From the clean and quiet rooms with all mod cons which open out onto a tranquil garden space with outside shower, loungers and wildlife! Always accommodating our needs topped off by the morning breakfast specials professionally prepared for our enjoyment. Thank you once again for a great stay!

Wir waren während unserer 3-wöchigen Reise insgesamt eine Woche im One on Bollard untergebracht. Es war unser persönliches Highlight auf unserer Reise. Wir haben uns mit unseren Kleinkindern pudelwohl gefühlt, weil uns vor allem die Gastgeber Diane und Rob so herzlich empfangen und betreut haben. Sie haben uns täglich Tipps für Aktivitäten gegeben und uns immer einen Tisch im Restaurant reserviert. Wir brauchten uns um Nichts zu kümmern. Die Zimmer waren top. Es gab sogar einen Eimer mit Spielsachen für den Strand in der Lagune, der nur wenige Schritte entfernt war. Das Frühstück war grandios. Brot, Butter, Joghurt, verschiedene Müslisorten kommen aus eigener Herstellung, täglich gab’s ein warmes „Frühstück-Special“ als Zugabe. One on Bollard ist ein kleines Guesthouse mit wenigen Zimmern, die sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet sind. Zusammen mit dem sehr herzlichen Kontakt zu den Gastgebern macht es den Aufenthalt sehr persönlich und besonders. Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder!

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. It is a walking distance from the beach, in a very quiet neighborhood. The room has her nice little private garden and the shower is huge. But above all, Diane and Rob are among the nicest people we’ve met during this trip. They are very thoughtful with their guests and they make gorgeous breakfasts!

Diane and Rob are the best hosts, it was my second time visiting their beautiful guest house and we felt so welcome and at home The breakfast was delicious, the room was very clean and spacious. I'm definitely visiting them in future with my family

Unforgettable stay with amazing people I cannot express how wonderful our stay was. Rob and Diane literally welcome as if it’s your own home with incredible facilities and the best breakfasts we had on our two week trip, we loved it! Our room was so spacious with a private garden and the whole house was beautiful. It was a pleasure to spend time on this gorgeous island and we will 100% return for longer next time, it was a highlight of our whole trip.

Diane and Rob are so gracious, friendly, attentive, professional and welcoming! One on Bollard is a special place reflecting their great eye for detail and tasteful style. We loved our stay - the room was classy and beautiful, the breakfast exceptional... and Diane and Rob were so caring with recommendations and making bookings for us. The location is fantastic both in terms of being safe and lovely - but also with so much to see and do nearby. Simply put - we will go again to relive memories that will last forever!
