Just lovely!!

very nice romantic hotel

Fijn verblijf van 4 nachten tijdens motorvakantie. Prima kamer, goed ontbijt en fijne pub erbij. Motoren konden prima geparkeerd worden, plek werd ook vrij gehouden voor ons. Zou dit hotel zeker aanraden, perfecte centrale plek om het bovenste deel van Scotland te zien.

Greeted at reception by the ever smiling Cheryll which got us off to a good start. Very quickly signed in and shown to our rooms. The evening meal served by Charlotte was very enjoyable. We couldn't have had a more comfortable nights sleep so no complaints there. Breakfast served by the still smiling Cheryll really set us up for the onward journey. Taking all things into consideration Cheryll and Charlotte made our stay a very pleasant one so thank you ladies for your contribution. Definitely on our list for another visit if we are ever in the area.

Very relaxed and friendly attitude. Had everything we needed and would return without hesitation.

What a wonderful find! We loved staying here and used the hotel as home base while exploring the east and north coasts. Sharon is a wonderful host and the food was also excellent, loved the breakfasts AND our dinners. The little bar is cozy and welcoming, we even enjoyed a wood fire.

Absolutely fabulous! Absolutely fabulous - would love to return again. (Was there last 47 years ago !) Cheryl is delightful and a lovely host. All the food was yummy. K/S bedroom was extremely comfortable.

We got the room with a magnificent view on the train bridge and river, and had dinner, breakfast and a little walk to the castle. We saw an osprey in the vicinity. Little options for walking close by. The lady of the house was very friendly. It turned out to be complicated to get the shower started, a little instruction would be nice

Fabulous location, lovely rooms and communal areas. Food was just ok.
