Lijiang Yunbowan Hotel (Sanyi International Airport)

I was looking for a place that would provide free pick-up because I was arriving at Lijiang Airport at 1 AM, and I made a reservation at Yunbowan Hotel. It had a very high rating of 4.9 on the Chinese booking site Ctrip, and I decided because Koreans had good reviews. Since it was late, I was worried that they might not be able to pick me up, so I contacted them via WeChat, and they happily said that they would. I was relieved. The owner asked me to contact them after I arrived to find my luggage, but I didn’t have a Chinese SIM card and I didn’t have roaming, so I couldn’t use the internet, so I was worried about how I could contact them. You need a Chinese number to use the free Wi-Fi at Lijiang Airport. I asked the security guard at the entrance to connect to the internet Wi-Fi on my phone and contacted them. After exiting Exit 3, turn right and go a little further, there was a place that said Deco (德克士) in Chinese, and I waited. The owner arrived in 3 minutes. The owner seemed to leave the hotel when I contacted him that my luggage was found, and it took about 5 minutes from the airport to the hotel. I didn’t expect much because I was only going to sleep for a day, but when I got there, the room was very clean and comfortable. The smell of cigarette smoke that I was worried about was not there at all in the room. (I have a daughter who is sensitive to cigarette smoke.) The bedding and towels were white, the bathroom was very clean, the water pressure was strong, and the basic amenities were well-equipped. They said that the hotel had been open for about 2 years. The next day, we were going to go to Lijiang Ancient City, but my wife and I, especially my daughter, liked the accommodation, so we rested for about 3 days while we were tired. The simple country-people-like owners prepared food for my daughter and me and encouraged us to eat several times, so we had a delicious lunch together. I think the warm and delicious bean porridge will be a long-lasting memory for my daughter and me who don't eat spices well. They also took care of anything we needed right away. Our family has been on long-term trips, so we have experienced many accommodations. We know the difference between commercial kindness and kindness that comes from the heart. I was grateful for the consideration and genuine kindness of the warm owners who were like family for the first time in a long time. There are also small supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It’s less than a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The misien and dumplings at the first restaurant (李奶白味饭店) were delicious. For anyone who wants to stay at Yunbowan Hotel, l'll tell you that the pick-up service is good. l and my parents had arrived very late, at about 1 a.m., but the owner still agreed to drive us. l recommend it for families who like the peace and quiet. lt feels like home inside the hotel. You can feel rested and relaxed, plus, the owner is very kind. A black and white dog is there. l really loved that adorable dog. l don't usually write reviews, but l felt like l must write one for this totally wonderful hotel.
