哇。真是个了不起的老板。
all i can say is that the boss (the host) went above and beyond. he really went out of his way to help me, being that i’m a solo traveler and came last minute to china with practically no language skills. we still understood each other! he helped me figure out how to visit lughu lake and shaxi within my budget. he also let me leave my bag there for a night. not to mention it was a very comfortable bed so i rested well! i recommend tai yu residence 100%! thank you boss!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Lijiang. It’s very well located — about 30 minutes by bus (line 18 or 4) from the train station, and only 10 minutes on foot from the entrance to the Old Town. I arrived around noon and, since there was no one at the front desk, I sent a message via WeChat — they came right away to check me in, which I really appreciated. The bus stop for line 101, which takes you to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong), is right next to the Old Town entrance — I’ve included a photo for reference. The shuttle to Lijiang Sanyi Airport is also about 15 minutes away on foot. Everything was super close and convenient. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and very quiet at night — I slept really well. It was a perfect stay and I would definitely come back.

Location : close to the old town (15min by foot), many food options just outside on the main street
Room : very clean, nice design and amazing mattress
Service : non English speaking staff, but still very helpful through a translation app

An excellent location inside a gated community. Host is a couple who are very helpful and friendly. Excellent wifi, free water, help to suggest medication if sick and you can get free oxigen cannister (if you are going to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain) Located 5 mins walk to Old Town main gate (and Zhong Yi Market) (exit right) and 5 mins walk to bus station (exit left) if you want to buy tickets to Tiger Leaping. Bus station you can take bus no 11 to Old Town or Shopping District (at Seven Star Road) and bus 8A to Black Dragon Pool scenic area (save on Didi). Plenty of food places including halal ones as you exit the gated housing area. Very very clean rooms, bed are great give you good rest and modern amenities. Very Highly recommended. Look no further. Photos on their listing are true to actual.

I highly recommend staying at this hotel! The owner was so kind, he spent a lot of time with me helping plan my trip, and even booking my tickets to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The room was extremely clean and new, and the bed was very comfortable. The next time I’m in Lijiang. I will definitely stay at this hotel!
