LiJiang Old Town Xiyu Shandu 360-degree high-altitude panoramic resort hotel

The room is very spacious and bright, so in general we love it, in addition, the whole room is installed with smart devices, so can control the room featuresby voice. The only setback is the location is slightly out, it is not facing the main road, rather like a back lane with very narrow driveway, but so far calling DD has no issue. The service attendants on the front desk is exceptional, it makes the entire stay very comfortable and nice, kudos to Luna and the rest of the team, thank you for your very warm service.

The place is about a 15-minute walk from the ancient city, but the excellent hotel staff and amenities more than make up for this minor inconvenience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making this our most enjoyable stay in Yunnan. The room was spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating the three of us. I especially loved the rooftop view of Yulong Snow Mountain — it was truly breathtaking. The hotel also offers afternoon tea and evening tea sessions, which added a nice touch to our stay. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. I mentioned that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and the management went the extra mile to decorate our room beautifully. It was simply lovely and made our stay even more memorable.

I’m really glad I chose this hotel for my stay in Lijiang. The service was amazing. Everything felt thoughtful and comfortable. They replied to my requests on WeChat super quickly, helped me with the paperwork, and even shared tips on where to go and what to eat in Lijiang. Honestly, it felt like home. The front desk lady (the chubbier one) was especially kind. She welcomed us with a big smile, showed us around the facilities, and even took care of our laundry so we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
 The room was also a highlight, especially the bedding. The pillows and quilt were so soft, and the sheets felt fresh and clean. After a long day of exploring, I could just sink into bed and fall asleep right away. Another nice surprise was their travel photography service. No need to look around for studios, they can shoot either in the courtyard or nearby. The photographer even guided me with poses, and the photos came out really natural. And of course, the café on the 8th floor deserves a mention. The barista there makes lovely afternoon tea, and the drinks were perfectly balanced, not too sweet. Since I wasn’t feeling well during the trip, I spent some evenings there chatting with him about Yunnan delicacies. It was such a cozy way to end the day. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. If I come back to Lijiang, I’d definitely stay here again!
