The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. She gave us useful tips and advice to avoid altitude sickness. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. The hotel provides washing machine and ample of space to dry the clothes. The owner will help to take out the clothes out in the sun while we are out to walk around. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very clean, spacious and very comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly, their breakfast is very good if u don’t like too heavy food in the morning, the lady boss cooked it herself , me n my mom enjoyed it very much. We like the apples here n the staff is very generous, she even got us more. We will definitely come back and stay if we have another chance to come back to Lijiang.

We had a fantastic stay at Lijiang Sampala Hotel! The location is great, just a short walk to the north gate of Lijiang Ancient Town. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the lady boss kindly upgraded one of our rooms for us. The hotel is less than 200m away from the Black Dragon Pool park, and there’s a bus stop right in front.
Delicious breakfast is provided every morning and it’s a generous spread. There’s also a reading and playing corner at the ground floor which my kids enjoyed. Washing machine is provided as well.
The highlight is definitely our host who is very friendly and helpful. She gave us a lot of useful advice, shared many interesting insights about Lijiang and even had small gifts for the kids and us when we left. We had to leave very early for our train on the last day and did not have time for breakfast, but she still prepared some small snacks to pass to us early morning, we were so touched! We really feel well taken cared of in Lijiang Sampala Hotel and we would love to come back! 谢谢陈姐。❤️

Perfect location, clean and comfortable room, free breakfast and owner is very friendly and introduced many local interests to me. I totally enjoy the stay and its convenient to go to all tourist attractions, bus stop and eBike just outside of hotel.
Highly recommended to all travellers to Lijiang and I definitely be back again !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel cum homestay in Lijiang, and it truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the enthusiastic owner, who made us feel right at home. The room was impeccably clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had a restful night's sleep every time. What stood out the most was the hospitality we received; the owner went above and beyond to help us plan our tours and offered great local tips that made our stay unforgettable. One of the highlights of our mornings was the delicious breakfast she prepared for us. Each meal was not only tasty but also made with a personal touch that added to the homey atmosphere. Overall, our stay felt like a perfect blend of a hotel and a home away from home. I can't recommend this delightful place enough for anyone looking to experience the warmth and beauty of Lijiang!
