Mountain View Hotels in Pak Chong

I had a great experience. Travelled as a family of 4 and the reception was amazing. The welcome drinks were tasty and we couldn’t have picked a better room. However, may i suggest for the following improvement: 1: Anti slip mats in the bathroom. The whole floor is marble and my 1 year old is slipping about trying to get from the bathroom to the private pool. 2: Pesky mosquitoes are everywhere. Would be good to install those electric socket mosquito repellent. 3: Because of the amount of bugs at night its a bit of a drag to get to the minibar since we have to literally open the door to the veranda to access it.

Overall is fine. The highlight is Alpaca. There is no kid club but have small outdoor activities for kids which may not work for bad weather. Room is a bit dated and worn out. Breakfast is blend and could be better especially facility. it is way too crowded.

Sala Khaoyai was a long-awaited visit, and it lived up to the pictures. The atmosphere was fantastic, complemented by the pleasantly chilly weather. The standout infinity pool, surrounded by lush greenery, was a highlight. The chef deserves a special mention – every meal was delicious. Given the remote location, we had most of our meals in the hotel, and it was a satisfying culinary experience. The rooms were superb, making our couple's trip a truly joyful and memorable experience.

The room is clean, but a bit small. The water in the bathroom, toilet, and bidet are very light. Must have employees come and fix it. The size is smaller than I thought. In the picture it looks quite wide. Good service staff But asked for a high floor room but got the 2nd floor. I couldn't take photos of the beautiful view. The accommodation has many zones for taking photos. But going during Christmas the price is quite high. Compared to other 4-star schools that are bigger and more beautiful. But at that time, every other place was full. Breakfast tastes average. There are a few to choose from. There is little parking, no indoor parking. The location is good, acceptable, but not worth the price paid.

The check-in process is not convenient to guest. It’s very unfriendly service for 5 stars hotel to let guests find the parking spot to check-in for themselves at the main building and then after check-in need to wait for golf cart lead us to parking space, and have only 2 golf carts are on service. Many guests are waiting in the hot weather. After that, I have to drive to parking space and have to wait for golf cart to pick me & my mom up. The room is clean and ok but with the nice scenery, but has musty smell a bit. The breakfast is decent International and Thai style but many flies there which 5 stars hotel should be more concerned about hygiene, especially with food.

The Isaan-style fried rice with stir-fried chicken and vegetables was a standout, and the omelet and grilled pork were equally satisfying. However, I noticed that some food stations were left unattended for a while, leading to items running low. 🫤 Drinks were the real highlight—the Ramayana series cocktail during happy hour was exceptional! Truly 5* in all aspects. Beautiful huge property with the rooms surrounding a lake, giving great views in the day. But don't worry about the size of the area, they have buggies to shuttle guests around. Our 2 bedroom suite was a huge comfy space, a master bedroom with a huge bathroom that comes with a luxurious bathtub. The other bedroom had 2 single beds with an attached bathroom with a standing shower but still spacious. Huge sofa in the living room (which can possibly sleep another person) and a dining table, all in between the 2 rooms. Everything is well maintained and clean, mini bar all inclusive, it's funny how they continue stocking the fridge even when we didn't drink any. I love the open wardrobe concept. Wished they had a full length mirror in the Twin-bed room though. The breakfast spread is good, a wide variety including live stations for eggs and congee and cuisines ranging from local Thai to international. They also have an extended selection on the weekends including a noodles live station. The pool, right beside the breakfast restaurant is a little small but enough to keep the kids occupied. The water is perpetually cold regardless of the time of the day. Staff here are excellent, always full of smiles, friendly and welcoming, from front desk to the buggy drivers, to the servers at breakfast. Certainly my choice hotel if I ever return to Khaoyai.

Booked this hotel based on good reviews especially many mentioned good breakfast. We didn't like it. Most food are cold. Eggs are all pre cooked. Pork and chicken congee no heat up. Also tables are not clean fast. Room toilet is not clean. There are mould and stain. Room is average. For TV, no English movies. Only thai local programmes. Very boring as we wanted to chill in the room watch movies. Water bottles is free for 2 bottles. Additional bottle will be charged 20B. We didn't enjoy the stay much. Will we come back again? No. There are other better resorts. Overall I'm not impressed with this hotel. There's a EV charger in the hotel.

Premiumly the best hotel. We highly recommend this place when you come to Khao Yai. We stayed at other hotel with the same star range as La Casetta, but I can never recommend others more than this place. The environment. The cleanliness. Especially the staffs and service, just simply the best and the kindest.

Nice hotel and New facilities. This hotel really fit for couples but not family. There's a lot of restriction for child, not allowed for some room type which we need to carefully read the policy and swimming pool at the club is prohibited for children. Breakfast is good taste but small utilization space.
