Friendly staff, swimming pool was really good the water was warm and comfortable. Wish they could keep the locker room at the pool warm too. But overall was nice experience. Bring a swimming cap, both men and woman need one to enter the pool. If you don't have one you can purchase one at the pool.

The hotel is located around 5mins away from the Shanxi South Road metro station. Room is spacious and the staff are friendly and helpful. You will immerse yourself in the history of this beautiful hotel during your stay.

It’s my 3rd or 4th time stay at this hotel. Great location, friendly staffs and comfortable rooms. We had a bit noise issues with the first room, and they quickly solved the problems. Great city view from the window, and allowed us late check out at 2pm as well. The manager George is very knowledgeable and friendly. Great experience.

Hotel located right across the street from People’s Square and subway station. 3 minutes walk to Nanjing Road pedestrian shopping street. The Bund is 15 minutes pleasant walk with host of shopping malls, dining facilities and movie theater along the way. The double deck tourist buses conventionally located across the street. There are 3 stops within 15 minutes walks to the Bund. Hotel staff from the front desk, concierge and room services provide pleasant and professional experiences. All questions answered. great hotel,clean rooms, great location , service so good only the hotel need to improve the food and develop it, sometimes we don't have to make a lot of food just we have to improve the food we have thank you

Everything about it was great apart from the location because it was far from everything. Required a minimum 2 hour car ride to get to PuXi and is also far from the airport. Keep that in mind if booking. Something else is that our room was very big (we had an apartment room) and the heater was not able to heat up the room properly so we were constantly cold. We had to wear warm clothes in the room at all times.

I initially booked 4 days stay at this hotel, on my 2nd day I found out they never changed bed sheets after previous guests and toilet was not cleaned as well. I gave them a chance and they moved me to another room, and I asked lobby manager Kevan who was very nice to make sure it’s clean room. Unfortunately it was not and I had to leave hotel earlier. I would not be looking to stay there again with such low level of cleanliness. Breakfast was good and not expensive. Location is good.

Hotel was very central. Right opposite Peoples’ Park EXIT NO 8. The staff was good. This is a old hitel so the interiors are slightly worn iut. They gave us a room towards the back, which we dis not like. It was slightly difficult for my father as it had to be navigated by stairs after getting off the elevator. Breakfast was surprisingly good for a chinese brand of hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a business trip.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The location was near the airport where we needed to be but it’s not great if you want to explore downtown. The staff were also lovely, The pool is nice and warm enough with great staff too. There was a few concerns I had. We had the ac in as cold and as high as it would go and it was just passable. I’d be scared to come in summer. We had the baby crib which was set up lovely but there was a weird door there baby could kick out of and slip through. We put a suitcase up next to it to keep it shut but it could be really dangerous if you didn’t notice.

Excellent hotel with many amazing pieces of art work on display. Nice decoration and style throughout. The whole compound is a like a park by the lake (大淀湖). The location is very good for an individual or family retreat. This is the place to be if you are looking for a quiet place to get away, but not too far from the major metropolitan area of Shanghai. The evenings are very quiet, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the bed is just right for a good night's sleep. The service is top notch and the staff are very friendly. Did I mention the pool? It is a 3-lane lap pool 25 meters long, with decent depth (1.7 meters) at the deep end. It is one of the best pools I have seen in comparable hotels. The breakfast offered is very good and has a wide variety covering some good quality Chinese as well as Western staples of the daily first meals.
