Nice and friendly small hotel with good location Nice small hotel, friendly staff. Rooms are in good condition, likely renovated lately, only small minus comes from beds and pillows, not the best quality and pillows were so big and full, it was hard to use those. Good location in the middle of the lovely Spa. Would come again!

2024 motorcycle tour A pleasant hotel, friendly staff, breakfast was well presented, nice size rooms to relax in. Hotel well located so you could walk to the local POI.

Netjes en in het centrum Keurige hotelkamer pal in het centrum gelegen. Fijne bedden. Keurige badkamer met heerlijke douche (wel zeep maar geen shampoo). Netheid in orde. Als je laat op de avond binnenkomt, moet je door een wat donker restaurant lopen.

Convenient spot in Spa Middle of town. Easy to walk around. Convenient location. Across the street from the tram that takes you to the spa. Didn’t eat at the restaurant cause checked in too late. But several others within walking distance. The lift is the size of a bathtub. One person and bag per trip otherwise a nice clean quiet place

There is no off street parking, have to park on the street. The photo of the hotel is carefully crafted as the monument in the picture is in the town square. No air conditioning and only one mirror in the mini suite despite a modern recent refurbishment. The restaurant is closed on a Wednesday - but of a surprise - good Restuarant’s nearby

Fine hotel with a restaurant Fine hotel with big rooms (separate with twin bed and a hall with expandable sofa). First level is indeed restaurant, but too bad it works limited hours - just as practically all restaurants in Spa. The staff was nice and helpful.

Un merveilleux souvenir, aux allures de carte postale ancienne, où la fumée sortant de la cheminée, recommandait de manière subliminale l’Auberge, pour la chaleur de sa Table et de son Hospitalité. Une porte grande ouverte, où l’on s’y sent bien, et où la vie la plus simple, la plus authentique. Une atmosphère qui éveille souvenirs, aux jours heureux. Tout est si propre en la Demeure… A l’endroit comme à l’envers de son décor, tout est véritablement Spacieux. On s’y sent chez soi. La nourriture en rappelle le temps des bons jours, pour la voir venir, pour la sentir… de ces assiettes chaudement sorties de sa Cuisine, et pour avoir du courage de proposer ces mets, aussi bons, qu’agréables, qu’une hospitalité et une gastronomie véritable ont le mérite de proposer et d’exister encore, faisant partie intégrante de notre patrimoine jadis mondial, patrimoine à notre humanité nationale qui témoigne pour l’éducation, autant à la science qu’à notre culture, de transmettre un état d’esprit, pour qui sait reconnaitre l’extraordinaire à sa région et à ses habitants.

Unless there’s somewhere special I have in mind, I tend to have a habit of patronising the restaurant attached to the accommodation I have booked. At this stage I have only booked a single night in Spa. At dinner I notice there are no ashtrays on the tables. I ask if this is a smoke free restaurant. The waiter tells me that at the moment no one is smoking, but they are allowed to smoke if they wish. I ask if I can move if someone starts smoking. No! Once you sit down, you cannot move. {emphasis on the full stop} Okay, so I’m paying over $100 for dinner and if some inconsiderate wants to smoke and ruin my night, then I have to just suck it all up. After that conversation, the waiter now serves me without eye contact. The food is placed on the table, he utters something in French and briskly walks away. There is no explanation as to what is in the soup of the day. The table next to me appears to have ordered soup of the day as well, but it is a completely different colour. So did I get yesterday’s leftovers. To those who speak French he jokes and smiles – the ultimate shmoozer. In the French part of Belgium, no one seems to speak English. Not an issue – it’s their country – but the change from the Dutch part to the French part is interesting. I am now looked down upon for not speaking their local language. I get the whole language thing, but as an Australian coming to Europe for a couple of months, am I really expected to learn 5 or 6 differnt languages to make everyone happy. As to the waiter; his shoes are cheap; his pants are too long as he can’t be bothered taking them up and they are sliding down under his pot belly since he’s not wearing a belt. Yet somewhere in his mind he is above me in status without knowing a single thing about me. After both waiters ignore me for ages, he finally comes to collect my glass. He looks at me with raised eyebrows. There is no verbalised question as to whether I would like another glass of wine, more a disdainful look – he will not lower himself to utter words to someone less than himself. I request another glass and ask if it could be in a bigger glass, explaining that Pinot Noir needs to breathe – I was initially served a much smaller glass than every other table. Hmmpph. Okay He placed the glass on my table and walked away as quickly as he could with no eye contact. I raised my palms to the sky in exasperation as he walked away. He approached me a few minutes later and told me that his fellow waitress had claimed I was still asking him a question when he walked away. I explained why I felt aggrieved and he told me that he was sorry I had interpreted things this way. After dinner I walk across the square to anothet hotel who gives me an air conditioned room for 10% less for the following night.

Situé au centre de la ville, cadre et ambiance très agréables. Personnel attentif et de très bons conseils. Nous avons choisi des plats différents, à savoir un magret de canard jus à la framboise entouré de petits légumes et des rognons de veau à la dijonnaise, le tout servi avec des croquettes de pomme de terre c'était excellent ! Pour le dessert , nous avons opté pour une dame blanche servie avec du chocolat fait maison ,et une crème brûlée à la cassonade. Une adresse où nous allons chaque fois que nous venons à Spa, et que nous recommandons vivement.

De locatie van dit hotel is geweldig, pal in het centrum van Spa. Er is ook een prima restaurant aan verbonden. Ruime en zeer nette kamers met een goed dubbel bed. Ook de badkamer mag gezien worden, ruim met inloopdouche. De WC is apart. Kleine minibar aanwezig. Het ontbijt is ok maar kan iets uitgebreider, een omeletje zou niet misstaan. De bediening was vriendelijk maar een beetje stijf. Natuurlijk is de voertaal Frans maar denk dat voor Nederlandse gasten dit toch moeilijk is. De ober bij het ontbijt sprak vloeiend Nederlands. Ik miste ook een aparte ingang voor het hotel.

Très bon accueil. Nous avions réservé et nous avons bien fait. C'était complet. Excellents apéritifs. Nous avons choisi le menu à 45€. Un vrai régal. L'entrée,le plat et le dessert Le gratin dauphinois, un peu petit pour un adulte mais excellent. Très bon service de table. Merci

Met een vriendin 2 dagen naar Spa gegaan. Oorspronkelijk dit hotel geboekt via ***********, echter iets fout gegaan in de reservering waardoor we geen bevestiging ontvangen hadden en reservering ook niet in *********** app stond. Vandaar nieuwe reservering gemaakt bij ander hotel. Eenmaal in Spa aangekomen bleek Auberge wel de reservering van *********** doorgekregen te hebben. Wij zijn langs Auberge gegaan om de situatie uit te leggen en oplossing te zoeken, hier wilde ze echter niet aan meewerken. Zeer star en was probleem van ***********, zij zouden no show opgeven zodat volle pond doorberekend wordt. Aangegeven goed te begrijpen hoe vervelend de situatie was en dat we graag de commissie wilde betalen die zij aan *********** moeten betalen, starheid bleef en vooral de dame was zeer onvriendelijk. Klantvriendelijkheid dus een 0, er niet geslapen maar korte tijd dat we binnen waren wel gezien dat het interieur zeer oudbollig en outdated is. Zijn vele leukere hotels én restaurants in Spa

Chaque fois que nous venons à Spa, nous ne ratons jamais l'occasion de dîner à l'Auberge. Très bel endroit cosy, tables espacées, personnel très agréable, efficace. Excellente cuisine. Comme d'habitude, nous avons passé une excellente soirée, merci à eux !

Nous avons passé une nuit à l'hôtel l'auberge. l'hôtel est agréable, idéalement situé au centre de la ville et au pied du funiculaire permettant l'accès aux thermes. Les chambres y ont été récemment rénovées et sont très confortables. Très bon buffet petit déjeuner.
