There is an artificial canal in the middle of the city, and boats sail on it. It’s a close place that you can visit on a day trip from Porto, so it’s good to stop by when you have time! I recommend buying one of Aveiro’s representative specialties, ovos moles (a dessert made with egg yolks) and eating it while sitting in front of the canal :)
