Santa Claus Express/Finland

I took the Santa Claus Express sleeper train for about 13 hours to travel from Helsinki to Rovaniemi 🎅❄️ After spending almost an entire day sightseeing on foot, visiting a sauna, and enjoying a hearty meal, I was perfectly ready for sleep. As soon as I lay down on the bed, I fell asleep instantly 🥱💤. When I woke up, the view outside the window had transformed into a snowy wonderland, which was truly breathtaking 🪟🌲🪄. The private cabin was very comfortable, equipped with a sink, mirror, hangers, and plenty of outlets. Although I didn’t use them, there were also shared shower rooms and a dining car available 🥣. The price varies, but for us, it was around 18,000 yen per person. Since hotels on Saturday nights were extremely expensive, the sleeper train was a great way to save on both accommodation and transportation costs. Highly recommended! 🦌❄️
