Let me tell you that Osaka is a city that combines fun, cuteness and rich Japanese culture in one place. It is suitable for everyone, whether you are a foodie, a shopper or a temple visitor. Today, Boom will share my experience traveling in Osaka that is full of smiles warmth and delicious food that everyone will definitely fall in love with. 💕 ⸻ Arriving in Osaka: Kansai Airport + train to the city center When I arrived at Kansai Airport, I felt very excited because the airport is beautiful and very convenient to travel. There is the JR Kansai Airport Rapid Service that runs directly into the heart of Osaka, such as Namba or Umeda. Boom chose to stay in Namba because it is a lively area with many shopping and food areas. Walk just a few steps and you will find delicious things everywhere. ⸻ Day 1: Explore "Dotonbori", a street of lights and food 🎉 Once I packed my bags, Boom immediately went for a walk at Dotonbori. This is the most famous food and shopping market in Osaka. There is a famous neon sign called “Glico Man” that you must take a picture of! As I walked, I smelled the aroma of takoyaki, which Osakans are very proud of. Round balls, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, filled with large pieces of squid, topped with sweet sauce and mayonnaise. I walked and ate with a smile. I felt that every bite was truly happy. There was also okonomiyaki (pancakes with vegetables and meat) that when you eat it, you will feel warm like you are being hugged by the food. While walking, I also found cute sweet shops like mochi, cold ice cream and a drink shop decorated like a cute cafe. I can tell you that you can walk here all day and not get bored. ⸻ Day 2: Have fun at Universal Studios Japan 🎢 On the second day, Boom took herself to have fun at Universal Studios Japan (USJ), a theme park that is loved by all ages! Start at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This zone is like being in a real magical world. Walk around Hogsmeade Village, sip on sweet, cold Butterbeer, which is unique. Then go play Mario Kart at Super Nintendo World, a virtual reality ride that makes us feel like we are really racing in the game. It's so much fun. There are many other rides in the Jurassic Park, Minions, and others that are full of excitement. After a tiring but smile-filled day of sightseeing, Boom returned to the accommodation with extreme happiness. ⸻ Day 3: Chill shopping at "Shinsaibashi" and tasting cute snacks 🍰🛍️ Today, Boom traveled to Shinsaibashi, a super hip shopping district full of various shops, from brand names to small shops. Selling cute, authentic Japanese things. Boom likes to walk around and look at cute souvenirs, mochi, daifuku, and soft, fluffy souffle cakes. So I had to buy it as a souvenir for my friends at home. It tasted so good and was so cute that I almost didn't dare to eat it. Walking around, I stopped by a cute little cafe decorated in pastel tones. There was a cute animal-shaped latte art and sweet cakes that were so satisfying to eat. ⸻ Day Four: Kyoto Day Trip 🌸 Osaka is very close to Kyoto, so Boom decided to take a day trip to Kyoto to experience the atmosphere of this classic cultural city. Starting at Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, with a long red torii gate stretching up the mountain, the atmosphere was like being transported to a fairytale world. Walking along the torii gate until reaching the top of the mountain, I experienced the peace and beautiful view of Kyoto. Next, I walked around the Gion district, where geisha or maiko in kimono walked by. The atmosphere was retro and very cute. ⸻ Day Five: Enjoy a delicious meal at "Kuromon Ichiba" Market 🦐🍣 Back to Osaka Boom went to Kuromon Ichiba Market A fresh market famous for fresh seafood and many delicious foods Try grilled scallops, big and full, crispy tempura shrimp, fresh sushi Sweet and crispy, so delicious that I have to tell everyone. Anyone who likes seafood should not miss it. ⸻ Last day: Take a leisurely stroll at Namba Parks and buy souvenirs at Don Quijote 🎁✨ Before going back, Boom went to Namba Parks, a super chic department store with a beautiful rooftop garden and a very relaxing atmosphere. Continued by shopping for souvenirs at Don Quijote, a 24-hour store with a lot of stuff, including snacks, cosmetics, household items, and cute souvenirs that will make anyone who comes here melt. ⸻ A little trick for the most fun trip to Osaka 💡 •Buy an ICOCA or Suica card to use on trains and buses, very convenient •Comfortable walking shoes because there is a lot of walking •Download a navigation app and a translation app, it helps a lot •Carry a cloth bag because Japan doesn't give out free bags •Must try takoyaki and okonomiyaki, they are really delicious ⸻ Summary of my impressions 💕 Osaka is a warm, bright and fun city.
