Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum

#chinatrip This place is enormous! If you walk around all three sections, and take it all on, you could easily spend the whole day here. The main shrine and sutra repository were standouts, the scale of those buildings leaves you with a real sense of grandeur and humility. The vegetarian restaurants are almost all in the Buddha museum section, where the 8 Pagodas are, and seem all reasonably priced. We started at the other end of the monastery so had eaten by the time we found these. Definitely worth a day trip, especially if you enjoy learning about other religions or cultures
