What travelers say:
Best lunch in the last weeks: El Candado Beach Restaurant today. The wine list is really good and the food wonderful creative and tasty. A real highlight of this springs food tasting tour. Boquerones, meijillones, tuna, cannelon de aguacate and a fish/seafood soup (probably the best outside of Marseille).

We were a family of 14 ranging in age from teenagers to 80+ yrs and everyone of us loves our experience at Candado beach.. We were looked after very well and the food was amazing.
Great location and the food was just excellent. Parking is a bit difficult. The staff whilst very nice felt a bit distant. However this did not impact on the meal. We would definitely recommend it.
We had just an amazing lunch! We have tasted starters (tapas), main course and dessert. They had a bufet salad with sundried tomato, black olives and fresh and crispy ruccola , oysters which was the best in this region. As a main course, my husband took lamb chops which were young, perfectly made, juicy and fresh. I selected grilled octopus which was soft and they served with light small potatoes and with 3 different sauces that harmonised really well. We got a big amount of salad as side dish with it. It looks simple but I wish I would get this taste bomb everytime on a salad. After these, we felt completely full but when we have seen the list of the dessert, we couldn't resist so we took an amazing carrot cake and a tasty cheese cake both served nicely! Highly recommended!
Nice place, feet almost in the sand but still a touch of elegance. Excellent friendly service and very tasty food. A tad expensive compared to other places close by, but they don't offer the same ambience. However, we ordered a starter and a main, both to share. Starter was fine, and then the Caldoso arrived. I thought it was an excellent portion, but when the bill came we were charged for two raciones. It was quite expensive, but we did not quibble, preferring to enjoy a super lunch.
