I chose this hotel because it is close to the entrance of Emeishan and it was definitely the right decision! It is within a 10 minute walk and also highly accessible by car/bus (5 minute car ride from the high speed railway station). The hotel staff were extremely kind and helpful, giving me lots of food recommendations and also taking extra care in making sure I am safe and know how to get around (given that I am a young female solo traveller). The room was incredibly spacious and well lit. The breakfast options were also very extensive. Definitely worth the value for money and encourage everyone to stay here!

Overall had a great experience at the hotel. There was a free pick up from emei shan high speed rail station. The hotel staff 小耿 that picked us at the train station was very welcoming and answered many of our questions regarding how best to tour Emei Mountain. She also sent us major location pin and guided us where to visit. Hotel breakfast was great on Sunday with a variety of choices.
Hotel is 10mins walk away from 报国寺 and bus station to go to Emei Mountain. Right opposite the hotel has food options. If you walk 20mins downhill, there would be more selection of local food. Very convenient location.

Very satisfied! I regretted booking only one night! I must stay a few more nights next time!
After arriving, because the room I originally booked had not been cleaned yet, the front desk directly upgraded the room type. Although it was on the first floor, the light would definitely be darker than on the second floor, but I think it was okay, not as annoying as others said.
The housekeeper added WeChat in advance, and told the housekeeper directly if there was any need. The response was very fast, more timely than calling! On the morning of check-out, the housekeeper sent a message saying that the delayed check-out had been arranged, which was so thoughtful! Although we did not delay, I still thank Xiao Ding housekeeper for being so thoughtful and thoughtful!
There were many activities during the May Day holiday, and the children were simply having fun. I will come to check in for other activities next time! Many hotel takeouts are not delivered to the room, but here they can be delivered directly to the room! How important it is for people who don’t want to go out! !

It was a great stay. I liked the hotel so much that I decided to book an extra day. The location is very convenient; you can take a walking path to the temples from here. The tourist center for visiting Golden Peak is not far either—it took me 20 minutes to walk there through the amazing bamboo forest. I was also happy with the breakfast; the choice of dishes was very nice. The hot spring was the best thing you could do after hiking. I also loved the special local tea provided in the room; it was a wonderful touch. I noticed the attention to every detail of the stay and truly wish I can come here again. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone

We enjoyed staying at In Time Hotel which operates a number of accommodation “apartment” units over a few blocks in the residential estate. The staff are friendly and they do offer complimentary pick up and drop off service from/to Emeishan railway station. The unit is spacious and fully equipped with the necessary amenities including washer in the balcony. The hotel provides disposable paper bath towel so suggest that you bring your own towel for more comfort. Local breakfast will be delivered to your unit at the agreed time. It is about 10-15 mins walking distance to the Tian Xia Ming Shan archway and Ma Lu Qiao food street. Didi is also very accessible as they will pick up from your block entrance. Recommended place to stay at an affordable price.

During this trip to Mount Emei, I encountered the wonderful Zhizhu Hot Spring Hotel, which I must recommend to everyone!
As soon as I stepped into the hotel, the lush green plants and gurgling water instantly immersed me in a quiet and comfortable atmosphere, and my fatigue disappeared. The hotel is built by the lake and perfectly blends with the natural scenery of Mount Emei. Here, you can see beautiful scenery everywhere, and the fresh air makes people can't help but take a deep breath.
The room is spacious and bright, with a reasonable layout. The original wood-colored furniture is matched with soft lighting to create a warm living atmosphere. The oversized floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outdoor lake and mountain scenery into the room, with an excellent view. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the design of the double washbasin is very considerate, and the check-in experience is full.
The service here is also impeccable. From the warm and efficient reception at the front desk to the caring greetings of the housekeeper, every detail makes people feel warm. When checking in, the housekeeper Zhang Ying also carefully introduced the surrounding travel guide and food recommendations, and the service was particularly good👍
The hotel's hot springs are also not to be missed. The outdoor hot spring pools are scattered in the garden. I have been to Mount Emei many times and stayed in other hotels. Overall, I think this hotel gave me a very good experience. Manager Shen from customer service is very good. I went there with my child, and the child was naughty and made the bed sheet dirty. He immediately asked someone to change it for me. He also immediately brought me ice cubes and iodine when my lip was bruised. The hotel environment is also very good. Hot springs are a major feature. Many children have fun in the hot spring pool.

Accommodation conditions on the mountain are limited. The rooms are not big, but the hygiene is OK. It is recommended to take some disposable quilt covers. The warmth is very good. The floor heating and the heated bed are not cold at all. The auntie will also wake you up to watch the sunrise. The boss is very enthusiastic and will provide advice on travel. It is quite quiet at night.

GGuest UserI wish to do a fair review of my B&B stay at Emeishan.
Service was spectacular.
1) The hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off services from Emeishan Station (not to be confused with Emei Station), about 7-8 mins drive from the hotel. I communicated via WeChat which trains I would be on and let them know that my 1st train arrival was actually so that I could drop off my large suitcase at their place, before going backwards to Leshan for half a day, and then returning to Emeishan in the evening. Not only did they agree to send someone to the train station to pick-up, they agreed to pick up only my luggage without me needing to accompany. So I could add an additional hour to my Leshan trip. Then they came to the train station a 2nd time in the evening to pick me back to the hotel.
2) The hotel replies very very quickly on WeChat, as if monitoring it all the time.
3) The hotel could arrange ticket purchase of a show, Only Emeishan, at a price lower than what you find on the official website.
4) The hotel even left the suitcase in my room before my arrival.
5) When I told the hotel to skip preparing my breakfast as I was starting off at 7am the next day to go Emeishan (breakfast is 7.30am at the hotel), they offered to put some items into a plastic box for me to take along.
5-star service in terms of making arrangements!
They gave me a really large room, and I never used the bathtub with the bath herbs, but am thankful for the upgrade. Loved it that they gave 1 gigantic bottle of water and 2 smaller ones, showing their care for pple intending to climb Emeishan.
Please don't expect too much from what they call ”Afternoon Tea” included in your package. It is merely a small tray of dried/fresh fruit, so it wouldn't form a meal.
But I would not be fair to readers of reviews if I didn't give a balanced review.
a) The hardware is a bit tired. The wooden planks in the shower room are blackish, and there are water marks on the stone in the bathroom.
b) The power sockets are not at good locations. They are at the lower parts of a wall at a random spot and nothing near the bedside.
c) The lights in the room are not well-positioned.
d) There was an empty bottle below the wardrobe area when I first entered the room, which was missed even on the 2nd day.
e) As I'm not familiar with Emeishan, I also didn't know that 黄湾 area is not exactly the main activity area in Emeishan. That said, the hotel is a 5-7 min walk from the 黄湾 entrance/exit to Emeishan. I believe the Baoguo Temple entrance/exit would be more popular. There are several restaurants around the restaurant but the vast majority appear closed or are not occupied, so it doesn't feel very lively, whether day or night.
All in all, I would still recommend this hotel as they are family owned and run. The whole family depends on your support. Support local small business and give them a chance.

LLanJiangWe initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff.
When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough.
If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting.
A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance.
If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay.
A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.

The staffs are very helpful and friendly and the owner who runs the business was very helpful too in ensuring we have a good stay and didn’t get lost. Offered us pick up from HSR Stn which is about 10-15mins away. The room is clean and bed is so cosy! Overall highly recommend this hotel resort with property of Chinese & Eastern theme.

The hotel has a pick-up service, so you don't have to worry about it. The hot spring is indoors, so you don't have to worry about the children catching a cold. It's good. The dolls are very happy. I will choose it next time. It is suitable for the whole family to play together

BBernicetjmXiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is very good. The housekeeper Xiaojia is very enthusiastic. She helped us book tickets for the show and took us to visit the room. The service was very good. The room arranged for our family was by the river with a very wide view. When we returned to the room at night, in addition to desserts and fruits, they also prepared water for private soup for us. The arranged room was also very comfortable. The experience exceeded expectations. The whole family felt that this hotel reservation was very comfortable and in place. I will contact Xiaojia again to arrange it for us when I go to this hotel in the future.

CChin P.Many thanks and praises to Ms. Fanny, the front desk lady who checked us in. She followed all the standardized procedure and dialogue, showing that she was properly trained and was very mindful of her tasks. Despite not speaking much English, she was very helpful and informative as she went so far as to use an electronic translator from her phone to describe everything in details for me and answer all of my questions. Above all, her manner and facial expression were very well trained as she never once showed a sign of frustration when I asked her many questions and she smiled all the time, a phenomenon that I hardly experience or see in China (as most local staff usually have cold or indifferent facial expressions and do not seem to be too active in receiving guests). The hotel itself is decent enough, with a few warm pools as the highlight that let us wind down after a tiring day. Breakfast was abundant and delicious at this price range. I would stay here again if I returned to Emeishan.

GGuest UserThe hotel is newly opened this year. The hotel environment is good and the facilities are very new. There is free parking in the hotel and you can play mahjong for free.
The young lady and elder sister at the front desk provided very good service. They gave us a welcome fruit and enthusiastically explained to us the travel guide to Mount Emei and the specialties of Emei.
The hotel is very close to the visitor center, next to Baoguo Temple and the museum, and it is very quiet here.
I am very satisfied with my stay and will come again next time.

GGine HuiA small boutique hotel located next to the cable car station at the mountain top, next to the path where hikers and tourists will past by. It was therefore a bit noisy. It will take about 15 to 20 minutes to walk up to the Jinding temple.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean with basic amenities. It is a bit pricey for the room, I supposed it's advantage is the close proximity to Jinding. Breakfast (porridge, pickles, vegetables and buns) was provided free, simple but nice. Had dinner at their restaurant, the food was tasty, better than many restaurants around the foot of Emeishan that we have tried.
