Charming place right on a beautiful clean beach that is not crowded and swimmable. The staff are lovely (thanks, Sue!) food surprisingly good (fish BBQ!) and you can get scooters right at the place. We actually checked in to the more luxury option on this beach and then moved here instead because it felt way more friendly. Don’t come here if you want to party, it’s at the far south of all the beaches and over some huge hills to the next gathering of shops (although there is laundry and a few restaurants and a basic shop nearby). And don’t expect satin sheets or huge rooms, it is what it is and that’s a bit rustic. But for what it is, and the price, you can’t do better.

We weren't staying here, but for the three nights that we were staying at the neighbouring Anda Lanta resort, we walked along the beach to their restaurant. Much cheaper, friendlier and on the beach for sunset watching plus, most importantly, the food and service is excellent. The fish is so fresh off the boat and the papaya salad is a great sharing dish as a side. My mouth is watering at the memory right now!

Excellent place

Beautifully located on the beach this restaurant and its accommodation is idyllic. Great for families, friends or couples it’s basic bungalows are clean and comfortable. Sue and her amazing team can’t do enough for you. The food is amazing with bbq tuna and barracuda a highlight. We also hired our moped from there, all bikes virtually new. Peace n quiet on a fabulous beach.

Sue and the team in this magical place cannot do enough for you. We had a perfect table in the sand every night for dinner. Perfect location, amazing beach, incredible vibe, staff are a real asset especially Sue and Tik. We have been made to feel like we are part of the Khlong jark family. Our bungalow was comfortable, good air con, clean and amazing location: Cannot recommend this magical find enough. We will return!
