I had a great stay here! Jake provided me with lots of helpful information, and when I had to change my booking he was very understanding and professional about it. It's a short walk from all the places I needed to be in Hobart and the room was very comfy. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely room and convict built hotel. Arrived around 10:00PM. GLAD we had internet access to get directions to get entry keys and directions to our room Place could use a little TLC. Very convenient to local restaurants and wharf

This accommodation did not measure up to the descriptions as we were led to believe. although situated in a very old historic home you stay in one bedroom with bathroom attached. there are approximately 20 stairs to the front of the building and eight at the rear of the building which are extremely difficult to access. The 4 brass bed was uncomfortable and the room was squashy. The old furniture was not accommodating and kitchen utensils were limited. I think it was expected that we would purchase the breakfast component.

Beautiful heritage property situated in a convenient location. Lovely owners who are happy to assist travellers.

It's a heritage property. What we didn't like is the room light is too dim and not much room to put the kettle and glasses. Anything else are okay . Thanks

Such a kind host... Jeff Jeff was so helpful but felt it was overpriced. However, it was just days before Wooden Boat Race and Regatta and I did book last minute. Would stay again...but not at the price I paid.

Very comfortable and convenient Thanks for a great stay. Had one of the best sleeps during my travels - the bed was very comfortable. And the complementary port was a nice touch - we do enjoy a nice port.

A home away from home A very welcoming reception, beautifully restored and furnished historic homestead on National Trust Register, stately reception area and well stocked lounge. What a treat. The room was clean, fresh, bright and spacious with all bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities needed. Internal courtyard garden was welcome relief from city life. Thank you Jeff for your hospitality.

Warm, easy access to CBD, friendly staff

We were very happy to spend three nights here at this well located accommodation in Hobart. Our host met us as we parked and gave us a certificate that enabled us to park in the adjacent side street. Our room was pretty with its four poster bed, in this old stone home. We loved the lounge with tea/coffee and complimentary muscat. This was a lovely place for a night cap. Wifi was slow so we used our phones. Everything else was lovely.
