A delightful stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, Hohhot!

Ah, the weather is getting warmer, spring is in the air, and it's the perfect time to travel. Even this retired lady couldn't resist! I took a solo trip to Hohhot over the weekend and stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel. It was truly delightful. Today, I'd like to share my travel experience with you, hoping you can also feel this joy. 😊 Home Away From Home, Details Matter The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, decorated in a Mongolian style that makes you feel like you're deep in the grasslands. Even the welcome gifts were authentic beef jerky and milk fudge – a thoughtful and delicious touch. The humidifier in the air conditioning system kept the air moist, which significantly improved my sleep quality. 🏊‍♀️ Leisure Facilities, Enjoy Life The hotel's wellness facilities are also a highlight, especially the 25-meter indoor swimming pool, sauna, and whirlpool. Every time I finished swimming and took a bath, all my fatigue disappeared. The gym is also fully equipped, so you can keep up with your workouts even when you're away from home. 🍽️ Foodie Paradise, A Feast for the Senses Speaking of food, Shangri-La's dining options are definitely worth trying. The roasted leg of lamb and hand-pulled meat at Shang Palace are bursting with authentic Inner Mongolian flavor. And the freshly roasted duck at Café Mix, with its crispy skin and tender meat, paired with the yogurt cheesecake, is a true culinary delight. 🌿 Nearby Attractions, A Cultural Journey From the hotel, it's just a few minutes' walk to Hiley Plaza, where you can stroll through the shops, buy some local specialties, or visit the Children's Discovery Museum. If you want to experience more history and culture, you can visit the Five-Pagoda Temple or Dazhao Temple, both a short taxi ride from the hotel. Walking along University West Street, you can also sample a variety of authentic local snacks, leaving you completely satisfied.
