Tried the Makgeoli bread with bean butter and it was such a unique and comforting treat—the subtle tang of the bread pairs beautifully with the rich, earthy bean butter. I also had the kimchi platter, which featured seven kinds of house-fermented kimchi and pickles. Six were savory and deliciously bold, while the one apple-based variety added a surprising touch of sweetness. It would be even better if there was a bit more balance between savory and sweet overall. Ended the meal with the sesame ice cream—nutty, smooth, and not too sweet, which I really appreciated.
